En la clase de Geografía la profesora nos pidió que mediante una galería de fotografías realicemos una introducción a nuestro trabajo de investigación.Con pocas palabras e imágenes impactantes deberíamos llegar a explicar el tema en una manera mas sencilla.

The Help

In the class of writting we write an informal letter about the movie "The Help".In  this assignment, the idea was to supposed to take the role of  Skeeter ,and we had to  write to a friend living in New York and to tell her about the stories that  Skeeter has heard in Mississippi about  the afroamerican  population. In the letter we dont have to give  names or disclose the secret about Skeeter writing a book about the helpers in Mississipp.

Dear Elizabeth,

 I am sorry because I know that I should greet you properly since we haven´t spoken for a long time, I would rather omit that part and go directly to the horribles and melancholy stories that I learnt here in Jackson Mississippi.In the last week I met two black helpers at Jackson, whose names I can´t said and I prefer that they remaind in secret, and they shear me many conflicts and problems about the tough life Negros are obliged to face in my white supremacist town, which set my teeth on edge. As well as facing racial segregation and verbal violence, these citizens have to pull up with their intolerant employers abusing of their wealth and social status to humiliate the hands that feed their children and look after their beloved homes.However, they are mocked by white residents who undermine their efforts and challenge their ability to send their own kids to college after having raised the money from years of hard labour. This is the case of a helper in which her greedy owner, who I am not supposed to mention, refused to give her a loan in order to give her a good education education,this i can´t believe it., can you  believe this? Mississippi is a place that women can´t realise their drems.You know, that actually reminded me of the day in which the most despicable and self-centred lady in town convinced almost the entire neighbourhood that the black help needed special toilets outside white houses since they might spread deadly illnesses. Pure nonsense! In conclution, that is the reason why that intolerant woman fired one of the helpers I've previously interviewed, because they must  to use her private toilet. There is another pretty “lady”that in the town  is known as a intolerant and superior woman because she despised her helper even though she took care of her toddler since she was practically born just because of the whims of other women with a higher status than hers was.Well, I hope that these stories make you reflect and think that this is not a jock.I wanted to see you and keep sharing about the stories that I listen.Plese write me.

VACANCES!

J´ ai été à Paris la semaine dernière avec mes amis. Parce que j´ai gagné un voyage. J´ai passé des très bons moments!

Le temps etait magnific,Le ciel etait bleu, jamais il a plu. J´ au visite La Tour Eiffel, est tares belle. J´ adorais les Champs Élysée. J´ ai pris des photos et j´ai acheté souvenirs. Les Champs Élysée sont merveilleux et bruyant.
Les personnes en France etaint très sympathiques. La nourriture était riche,Mon plate préféré etaint les Escargots.
Je me suis très amusée!

El poder del saber

El saber es poder?

 Al ver detenidamente el vídeo del periodista  y matemático argentino Adrian Paenza reflexione sobre distintos temas (aprender,desconocer,enseñar,dirigir ,ofender y saber).

Paenza aclara que el colegio ofrece una estructura, y que el niño en el colegio aprende a ser solidario,aprende a frustrarse,aprende a vivir en comunidad.En el colegio se le da al niño un problema, y   el docente sabe la solución , y lo ayuda hasta encontrarla ,y aquí es cuando el matemático hace una comparación importante entre el niño y el científico.Paenza  afirma que el científico  tiene, piensa , enfrenta un problema , y nadie sabe la solución , el tampoco sabe si la obtendrá en alga vez..

En el vídeo Paenza también explica, que la persona no tiene que por que saber todo lo que el otro sabe.Habla del abuso del poder del saber. Un abuso que sin darnos cuenta todos utilizamos en algún momento,un abuso que sin querer puede lastimar al otro. Muchos de nosotros abusamos de ese poder del saber,dañando por lo tanto a otra persona, poniéndolo en evidencia de su ignorancia sobre un tema determinado(en el vídeo esto se observa en el ejemplo del pizzero que no sabia que era cortar la pizza  en perpendicular o en ángulo recto). 

Estoy totalmente de acuerdo con las palabras de Paenza y comparto su opinión.Un ejemplo que creo que tiene relación con lo anteriormente citado es tratar de corregir el vocabulario de una persona que posee pautas culturales diferentes a las nuestras ( ej un niño de una provincia del norte puede utilizar vocablos que nosotros no conocemos, le puede hablar a su maestra con palabras que ella no utilizaría ,pero no por eso lo retaría o se reiría de el , y podría pasar también la situación a la inversa , la maestra puede usar palabras que el niño desconozca.)

A continuación les compartiré un vídeo que trata y explica el poder del conocimiento como formador de la persona,de su futuro,y no del poder del saber como superioridad entre las personas que saben y las que no,por que no saber algo no te hace menos que nadie.

Para finalizar comparto con ustedes una frase de Adrian Paenza:   "Si uno pregunta la solución de un problema,el conocimiento no permanece.Es como si uno lo hubiera pedido prestado.En cambio,si lo piensa uno,es como haberlo adquirido para siempre."
